Meet Zeenat S. Shafi – Founder & President of Shafi Education

Zeenat S. Shafi is a dedicated educator with over 40 years of experience in the field of education, research, and leadership. With a Master’s degree in Political Science, Mrs. Shafi’s passion for education has guided her throughout her career, influencing both students and the broader academic community.

Before founding Shafi Education, Mrs. Shafi held several key positions, including serving as the Assistant Director Of Research at the Association of Indian Universities, where she gained invaluable experience in higher education and academic policy. Her work in research further solidified her reputation as an expert in education, as she collaborated on various academic studies aimed at improving educational practices and student outcomes.

Throughout her career, Mrs. Shafi has consistently worked to bridge the gap between teaching, administration, and research, with a focus on providing students with the tools they need to succeed. Her deep understanding of the educational system, both in Canada and internationally, has played a crucial role in the development of Shafi Education, which she founded to provide personalized, student-centered tutoring.

Her leadership has earned her multiple honors, including recognition from the Mayor of Brampton, Multiple Member Of Parliaments and prestigious awards such as the Brampton Guardian Readers’ Choice Award for Best Learning Center. Mrs. Shafi continues to be actively involved in education, working with local school boards and mentoring educators to ensure that quality learning is accessible to all students.

Ariz Shafi is the Vice President and backbone of Shafi Education, playing a crucial role in shaping its vision, strategic direction, and day-to-day operations. With over 15 years of experience in business operations, Ariz brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the educational sector, ensuring that Shafi Education remains at the forefront of academic excellence and student success.

Ariz’s career spans a variety of industries, having successfully managed and operated multiple businesses, including his marketing firm Letz Market, one of Ontario’s leading marketing firms. His diverse expertise in business development, operations, and client relations helps Shafi Education deliver high-quality tutoring and educational services, while also continuously improving and adapting to the evolving needs of students and families.

In 2019, Ariz was honored with the Top 40 Under 40 award by the Brampton Board of Trade, recognizing his exceptional entrepreneurial success and leadership.
