1. What programs do you offer at Shafi Education?
We offer a wide range of programs including:
- Tutoring Services for all subjects (Math, Science, English, and more) from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

2. What age groups do you cater to?
We provide tutoring services for students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, as well as specialized programs for students in ABA therapy up to Grade 8. We also offer language programs for students of all ages.
3. How do I know which program is right for my child?
We offer a FREE assessment to evaluate your child’s needs and recommend the best program tailored to their individual learning style. You can book a consultation through our website or call us directly.
4. Do you provide one-on-one tutoring or group sessions?
At Shafi Education, we have designed all our programs with an individualized focus to ensure each student receives the attention they need. While our standard programs maintain a small teacher-to-student ratio of 4 students per teacher, we also offer a 1-on-1 program with a maximum of 2 students per teacher when more personalized support is needed. Whether in a group or individual setting, our goal is to help students reach their full potential.
5. Are your tutors certified?
Yes! All of our tutors are Ontario Certified Teachers (OCT) who are currently teaching in schools around the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board.
6. What is the cost of tutoring?
Our tutoring rates vary depending on the program and student’s needs. Our prices start from just $25/Hr. We offer flexible pricing options and no contracts, so you can pay on a month-to-month basis.
7. Can I sign up for tutoring at any time?
Yes, you can sign up for tutoring anytime. We have no long-term contracts, and you can start or pause services based on your needs. We even offer a grade improvement guarantee!
8. Do you offer online tutoring?
Yes, we offer virtual tutoring for students who cannot attend in person, ensuring that distance doesn’t prevent them from getting the support they need.
9. How long does it take to see results?
It varies by student, but many of our students start seeing improvements within a few weeks to months. We work closely with each student to set realistic goals, and our tutoring programs are designed for long-term success.
10. Is there a trial period for tutoring?
Yes, we offer a FREE consultation or assessment to evaluate your child’s needs and ensure that Shafi Education is the right fit for them. The assessment can take anywhere from 30mins to 1 hour. After the assessment, you can decide if you’d like to continue with our services.

12. What is ABA therapy, and how does it work?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy helps students with autism and developmental disabilities by breaking down complex behaviors and skills into manageable steps. Our ABA programs focus on key areas like communication, social skills, behavior reduction, school readiness, and more. We work with each child individually to help them develop necessary skills for daily life.

14. Do you offer tutoring during school breaks?
Yes! We offer tutoring during school breaks, including summer tutoring programs and specialized exam prep sessions for students who need extra help during holidays.
15. Can I switch tutors if my child is not comfortable?
Absolutely! We understand that a strong student-teacher relationship is essential for success. If your child isn’t feeling comfortable with their tutor, you simply inform our admin staff & we are happy to arrange a different tutor who may be a better fit.
16. How do I track my child’s progress?
You will receive regular progress updates from your child’s tutor, along with a summary of what they’ve worked on and areas to focus on next. We also use interactive tools to track progress and provide access to videos and articles for learning support.
17. What if my child needs help with a subject not listed?
We offer tutoring for a wide range of subjects beyond the core curriculum, including specialized exam preparation, advanced placement courses, and more. Just contact us to discuss your specific needs!

19. How soon can my child start tutoring?
We offer immediate enrollment for most of our programs. After an assessment, we can get your child started with tutoring as early as next day based on availability.
20. Do you help with homework?
Yes, our tutors assist with homework support as part of our personalized tutoring sessions, ensuring that your child not only understands the material but also develops the skills to complete assignments independently.
21. Can I ask for a tutor who speaks my language?
Yes! We have tutors fluent in multiple languages such as English, French, Spanish, Creole, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi & more. Please let us know your preferred language, and we will assign a tutor who can communicate effectively with your child. *Please note this service is only offered in our individualized program to ensure other students are not distracted.
